Basic Admission Requirements in Malaysia for International Students
The universities in Malaysia offers various programs for International Students. The requirements for those courses may vary depending on the choice of the university. For Undergraduate: SSC/ HSC or O’level /A’ level with a minimum GPA of 3.50 out of 5.00

Education System in Malaysia

Although we have known the fact that the tuition fees of the universities in Malaysia are relatively low. But receiving any kind of scholarship, tuition waiver or any kind of financial aid is always a blessing for an international student. Usually both the government of Malaysia and the universities both provide various types of scholarships such as Malaysia Government Scholarship, Malaysia Common Wealth Scholarship, and Malaysia International Bursaries etc.
Visa Requirements In Malaysia For Bangladeshi Students
In order to study in Malaysia the students to apply for student pass. There are papers works that are required for the application. Once all the documents are handed over properly rest of the work is done by the EMGS. EMGS which means Education Malaysia Global Service is part of the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. They official deal with all the procedures regarding the export of international students starting from the visa processing till the arrival of the student in Malaysia. In short in can be a said a one stop for the international students in Malaysia. So without further delay let’s look into the documents required for the process.
- One passport size photograph of the student with white background. (35mm X 45mm)
- A copy of valid passport which much include the observation page, validity of passport till 18 months or more.
- Copy of offer letter sent by the university
- Health Declaration Form
- All the education certificates and transcripts of the student and any additional paper required by the institution.
- A personal bond needs to be signed in behalf of the student by all the Educational Institute of Malaysia by the Immigration Department of the country. The money the student will pay to the university will be returned after completing of your degree or in case of with drawl form the institute.
- Prove of English Proficiency which includes (IELTS, MUET, TOEF ibt, PTE Academic online also acceptable, )
- An authorization letter will be sent by the university which needs to be attached to the student pass application. Authorization letter is given so to show that the representative from the university will be handling the further process of visa of the student.
- Must upload the Pre-Val Medical Report if the test is done by the registered clinic under EMGS then all the procedures will be done by them but if not then the test must be conducted in English and the student must ask its institute for further process.
- Lastly a fees will be required to be given to the EMGS that will be set according to the university.
